91猫先生 cares about the health and well-being of each student. We want to do all we can to ensure that students seek and receive medical attention (for both physical and mental needs) as soon as possible. Therefore, in addition to having an on-campus Physician Assistant (PA-C), 91猫先生 requires that ALL full-time traditional undergraduate students must carry health insurance. Students must be established with a primary care physician.

To help our students comply with this policy, each full-time traditional undergraduate student will be enrolled in a University Health Plan through 91猫先生, UNLESS the student completes an online waiver with policy information showing that they already have health insurance coverage.

Information about the health plan and waiver process are detailed below:

• Full time students will be automatically charged for health insurance unless they complete and submit the insurance waiver on an annual basis.
• Students will be charged the $2,048 premium starting 6/29/2026 (if no waiver has already been submitted) once they are registered for 12 or more credits. The charge will be removed once their waiver has been processed.
• This is an ANNUAL waiver process
• The cost for the insurance will be $2,048 for 26-27 academic year, all billed in Fall
• Coverage runs from August 1, 2026 to July 31, 2027
  • Waiver deadline is September 11, 2026. Students that do not complete the waiver form by this date will be charged for coverage. The $2,048 becomes non-refundable according to our policy after September 11, 2026.

1. Are health share ministries acceptable coverage for waiving 91猫先生’s Health Insurance Benefits?

Yes, Christian Healthshare Ministries (CHM) and programs like it are acceptable coverage.

2.  Are graduate students eligible for 91猫先生’s insurance?

No, graduate, ODP and 91猫先生 Pittsburgh students are not eligible for 91猫先生’s health insurance plan.

3.  As a non-US Citizen, am I required to purchase additional insurance if I have Canadian Provincial health insurance?

91猫先生 doesn’t require anything additional related to insurance for international students. You can simply enter your current insurance information for the waiver process.
